1995年、阪神・淡路大震災の被災地・神戸にて、被災された方々への激励と復興への願いを込めて発足。和太鼓の持つ響きの真髄を追求しながら、マリンバをはじめとする多様な民族楽器との融合により、独自の音楽世界を創り上げている。
国内各地での公演に加え、オーストラリア、ヨーロッパ、中東、韓国など海外でも演奏活動を展開し、各地で高い評価を獲得。サッカーワールドカップやラグビーワールドカップ関連イベントでの記念演奏をはじめ、
国内外の式典・イベント出演、テレビテーマ曲の制作など、多岐にわたる活動を行っている。さらに、ジャズやクラシック、世界各国の民族音楽や舞踊とのコラボレーションにも積極的に取り組み、表現の幅を拡張。
「和と世界の交響音楽」をコンセプトに掲げ、ジャンルや国境を越えた唯一無二の和太鼓音楽を確立し続けている。

Founded in 1995 in Kobe, in the aftermath of the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake, the group was established with the aim of encouraging those affected and sharing the spirit of the city’s recovery with the wider world.
While pursuing the essence of the powerful resonance of wadaiko (Japanese drums),
the ensemble creates a distinctive musical world through the fusion of marimba and a wide range of traditional instruments from around the globe.
In addition to performing throughout Japan, the group has appeared internationally in Australia, Europe, the Middle East, and South Korea, earning high acclaim in each region. Their activities include commemorative performances at events related to the FIFA World Cup and the Rugby World Cup, appearances at ceremonies and cultural events both in Japan and abroad, as well as the production of television theme music.
They also actively collaborate with artists across genres such as jazz and classical music, as well as traditional music and dance from various cultures, continually expanding their artistic scope.
Guided by the concept of “a symphonic harmony between Japan and the world,” the group continues to establish a truly unique style of wadaiko music that transcends genres and borders.
